OSCG CALENDAR
January: We put in a display at the International Orchid Show at the end of January at the Dade County Youth Fair Grounds. Last and this year our exhibit won first place!             

March:   Fairchild and OSCG put on an Orchid Show March 11-13. Our club puts in the main exhibit for this show with the help of Tod Anderson.
  
May: Membership Dues are due in May. Around the middle of the month is the Redland International Orchid Show held in the Redlands at the Fruit and Spice Park.  This is one of the largest shows put on in South Florida annually and attracts orchid vendors and shoppers from all over the world.             

June: OSCG puts on our annual fund raising Auction on the first Tuesday of the month.  Also, New Board members  and officers that have been nominated by the nominating committee are voted on at that meeting. 

August: New membership roster is distributed.

November:  “The Ramble” at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens.  This is also one of the largest events of vendors and all types of gardening organizations and societies. OSCG members volunteer their time providing information  about our society and also information on how to grow orchids.

December: First Tuesday of the month is our “Annual Holiday Gala.” It is the one time of the year that the focus is completely on socializing and not the program. The awards ceremony and plant distribution is the final end to a year of fun and a little hard work.  


The Board meets at 7:00pm, the second Tuesday of the month, rotating between the homes of the Board Members. The Board organizes the meetings and activities of the club. Non board members are welcome to attend.
